#2 Untangling The Knots: In Practice – Cyrenians’ Scottish Centre for Conflict Resolution (SCCR)
This badge is awarded to people who put into practice their learning from participating in the three day SCCR Untangling The Knots – Conflict Resolution Skills Training course. It is suggested that for impact of application to be assessed effectively a period of at least 3 months should have lapsed from completion of course date before applying for this badge.
All relationships get in a tangle from time to time, sometimes we need a bit of help with the knots. The course is over 3 days and explores how conflict can develop in relationships, and provides participants with the skills to help them support young people and families to have positive conversation and de-escalate and manage a situation if things become difficult. The course nurtures a creative, supportive and dynamic space for participants to share and reflect on their own learning and experiences, and build connections for the future.

Ideally applicants should have applied for and submitted evidence for the Untangling The Knots: Your Learning badge prior to applying for the practice badge.
You will need to provide a statement of at least 100 words in response the questions in the criteria for this badge. It can be in a format of your choosing for example written, audio or video submissions, statements from colleagues or managers would also constitute as appropriate evidence for applied learning.
