5. Assessment and credentialing in digital learning
This badge is awarded to people who have taken the final step in the SSSC’s digital learning design programme and demonstrated an understanding of the underlying principles of assessment in the context of digital learning and an ability to apply these principles in a real-world context.
This Badge is designed to establish your knowledge of the fundamental principles of assessment in the context of digital learning and provides an opportunity for you to demonstrate your ability to apply these principles in a real-world context.
One of the key challenges in digital learning is in managing the assessment and feedback process. The materials and activities for this module look at the impact of assessment on the learning process, managing the feedback loop, the use of open badges, innovations in blended assessment and, recording, storing and sharing evidence of learning.
