BeMe 360° video – Pre-5
This badge is awarded to learners who watch the scenario in the Pre-5 category in the BeMe 360° video smartphone app and submit evidence that meets the badge criteria.
This badge provided recognition of your learning from viewing the scenario in the Pre-5 category of the BeMe 360° video experience app. To be awarded the badge, you will need to submit answers to questions relating to your experience. The aim of the scenarios and this badge is to help you to understand how it feels to receive care and support.
Please note that this badge will remain valid for two years from the date it is awarded. After this, you will need to reapply for the badge if you wish to retain it in your badge portfolio or use it as evidence of prior learning.
To be awarded this badge, you must:
- watch the video in the Pre-5 category
- tell us about at least three things about your experience, including anything that surprised you, and explain why these are important (75 words minimum)
- tell us how the worker is working in line with the national ‘Health and Social Care Standards’ and make sure you identify the individual standards that apply (150 words minimum)
- tell us how you will use what you have learned from watching the video in your own practice, including anything that you will do differently as a result of using the BeMe smartphone app (150 words minimum)
- discuss your experience using the app with someone (eg a colleague, line manager or fellow student) and write a short note of this discussion (100 words minimum).
Your application will be returned to you with a request for further evidence if it does not meet all of the above criteria.

Evidence for this badge can be provided in written, audio (mp3) or video (mp4) format.
The evidence you submit will be viewable by anyone who you show your badge to. Do not include confidential or private information within your submission.
