Nutrition in Care Settings – Malnutrition Universal Screening Tool (MUST)
This Open Badge is awarded to people who understand how to use the Malnutrition Universal Screening Tool (MUST) to identify malnutrition in adults.
This Open Badge is intended for people in a variety of care settings and focuses on the Malnutrition Universal Screening Tool (MUST). The use of MUST is crucial in identifying risk of malnutrition in adults and subsequent person-centred care planning. Familiarising yourself with the tool and its application is integral to effective care. The learning materials for this badge include a video, a website, and an information booklet, all designed to provide a thorough understanding and application of MUST.
Developed in collaboration with NHS Tayside’s Allied Health Professions Clinical Educators and NHS GGC Care Home Team, we are grateful to NHS Tayside’s Nutrition and Dietetic Service for providing access to these learning materials.
