This Open Badge is awarded to health care support workers, third sector community workers, early years practitioners.
This badge is open to anyone regardless of whether you are registered with the Scottish Social Services Council. - To earn the open badge for this course, you will need to:
Step 1: Complete the e-learning module on NHS Education for Scotland Turas Learn (requires registration to log in) to receive a certificate. TURAS Learn site: https://learn.nes.nhs.scot/72090
Step 2: Complete the reflective writing to receive an Open Badge micro-credential (requires registration to log in and reflective writing to upload). To do this, think back to what you learnt in the e-learning module:
- Tell us three things that happen in the mouth to cause early childhood tooth decay and the impact it could have on a child (50 words minimum).
- Tell us three things you could do to prevent the development of early childhood tooth decay (50 words minimum).
- Tell us how you will use what you learned in your day-to-day work or personal life (25 words minimum).
- Tell us what you did to share what you learned with others (25 words minimum).
