This badge is aimed at those working in adult services, particularly care homes however it may also be beneficial for those working in other services.
To achieve this badge you must:
- Watch the webinar ‘Meaningful connection: Supporting positive peer relationships for people who live in care homes‘ – As you watch, note down any new concepts, strategies, information or insights that stand out to you. How do they relate to your current understanding and practice?
- Download and read the accompanying factsheet – Highlight key points in the factsheet that you find particularly informative or interesting. How do they complement what you’ve learned from the webinar?
- Use your notes from the webinar and factsheet to tell us about what you learned from the material and how you will apply this to your work. (200 words minimum).
- Discuss your experience using this resource with someone (e.g. a colleague or your line manager) and write a short note of this discussion (100 words minimum).
