ELC Thing 4 – What do others say about my leadership?
360 degree assessment is a process in which you rate your own leadership performance, and ask people who know you well in a work capacity to rate your performance too. These feedback tools are designed to help you reflect on your leadership capability and identify your strengths and areas for development.
This badge is awarded to people who have:
- worked through Thing 4: What do others say about my leadership?
- provided evidence of their learning through reflective writing.
This is part of the 23 Things ELC Leadership programme.
To earn this badge you must:
- work through Thing 4 of 23 Things ELC Leadership
- write an account of at least 200 words.
We will decline Open Badge applications without a completed reflective activity.
Before you submit applications and evidence for any of the 23 Things ELC Leadership Open Badges, it is recommended that you achieve these two Open Badges first:
Getting started with Open Badges
Writing evidence for Open Badge applications
You may also find it helpful to complete Things 1, 2 and 3 before starting Thing 4.
Complete the self-assessment and 360 assessment, including asking for feedback and sharing your results with your manager as described in Thing 4 and write a statement, up to 200 words, about your experience of using the tool, including:
- How completing the feedback tool has had an impact on you.
- An example of how your practice has changed, or may change, as a result.
