Leadership Thing 6 – What does self-leadership mean for me?
Self-leadership is about recognising your own leadership skills and abilities, and taking responsibility for using and developing these. The way you exercise self-leadership influences how you demonstrate all other leadership capabilities in your practice.

To earn this badge you must:
- Work through Thing 6 of 23 Things for Leadership.
- Write a reflective account of at least 200 words.
Before you submit applications and evidence for any of the 23 Things Leadership open badges, it is recommended that you achieve these two open badges first:

You may also find it helpful to complete Things 1-4 before starting Thing 6.
Complete the activities as described in Thing 6 – ‘What does self-leadership mean for me?’ and write a statement (minimum 200 words) on the self-leadership attitudes and behaviours you showed that helped to achieve a positive outcome.
