1. An introduction to The Knowledge Network for health and social care
The Knowledge Network for health and social care is a digital library designed for those working within the Social Services sector. By doing this Open Badge you will find out how to use the digital library and have an understanding of the resources that are available to support you in your practice.
After completing all three badges in this series you will be eligible for the Knowledge and Evidence Champion Open Badge:

- Explore The Knowledge Network for health and social care Social care pages and watch the help video one and help video two. Or join our online course: An introduction to The Knowledge Network for health and social care. You will need a Turas Learn account to book this course. This is available to all health and care staff in Scotland.
- Tell us three things you learned about The Knowledge Network for health and social care and why each of these is important to you as a social service worker (100 words minimum)
- Register for an NHSScotland OpenAthens username and include this username at the end of your evidence.
