The Importance of Fluoride
This badge is open to anyone regardless of whether you are registered with the Scottish Social Services Council. NHS Education for Scotland’s vision is to lead through sustainable educational solutions and working collaboratively with key partners to reduce inequalities and improve oral health for priority groups.
To earn the open badge for this course, you will need to:

Step 2: Complete the reflective writing to receive an Open Badge micro-credential (requires registration to log in and reflective writing to upload). To do this, think back to what you learnt in the e-learning module:
- In your own words, tell us about the six steps of dental decay (caries) (75 words minimum).
- Tell us three things you learned about fluoride that surprised you and why (50 words minimum).
- Tell us how you will use what you learned in your day-to-day work or personal life (25 words minimum).
- Tell us what you did to share what you learned with others (25 words minimum).
