RNIB Tips for Supporting a Person with Dementia and Sight Loss
Around a quarter of a million people are living with dementia and sight loss in the UK. RNIB and Alzheimer Scotland have partnered to produce some helpful advice if you support a person living with dementia and sight loss.
This Open Badge is awarded to people who have read and reflected on this information, and identified one piece of advice they have used, or intend to use, in their practice.
Click here to read the tips. You can also download them, or print them off to share with others.
To earn this badge you will need to:
- Read the advice from RNIB and Alzheimer Scotland, available from the RNIB website here.
- Pick something you find useful to know. Tell us why you found it helpful and how you have either used it in your work, or how you intend to use it in the future. We are looking for around 100 words.
